Connect with Your THS Class of '74 Alumni

Hello Friends! Wow, it's mid-July, and time seems to be flying by.  Hope you are having a wonderful summer and hope you all had a nice 4th of July.  I didn't realize it has been 3 months since we last posted about our summer get together. So here's some updated information:
Friday August 22: Breakfast at the Mel-O-Dee starting at 9:00 AM. We had a great time together last year, so hope you can make it.  No other planned events for Friday, so you can plan your own get- together. Let us know what's happening so we can crash some parties! And FYI for those who might be interested, there will be a Custom Car Cruise-In at the IGA north of New Carlisle from 4:00-7:00.  Might see some of you there.
Saturday August 23: From 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM, a picnic at Eastwood Lake. We have a shelter house reserved and will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, condiments, chips, water and pop.  We also have a limited permit for beer and wine, so bring some cold ones to enjoy. Feel free to bring a dish to share---but do not feel obligated to do so!! This is a Family Friendly event so children/grandchildren are welcome. NOTE: It would be helpful if you could bring an outdoor/lawn chair; there are some picnic tables and other seating available but we hope it's not enough!
Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM, relax with your classmates at Evans Farm in New Carlisle. We have plenty of seating  under the tent canopy, plus a cash bar, plus there will be food available for purchase from a unique establishment specializing in "British gastropub grub."  Plus some games and other activities.
It's been great hearing from you. Thanks Teri Luckenbaugh for your nice note! I hope I haven't forgotten anything important--let me know if I have, or if you have any questions.
One last thing, we do not need RSVPs or firm commitments, but if you are planning to come to Eastwood Lake, it would be nice to get a show of hands so we make sure we have enough food. Appreciate your support, and hope to see as many of you as possible! Spread the word!
